Senior Quant Recruiter - Fully Remote Position

Our client, a specialist search firm operating at the intersection of quantitative finance and technology, is looking to hire a Senior Quant Recruiter to join their team in a fully remote position.

They partner with some of the most sophisticated firms in global markets. Systematic hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and quantitative investment teams where talent is exceptionally scarce and hiring decisions are taken seriously.

This is a senior role for a recruiter who already understands the quant ecosystem. Someone comfortable speaking with quant researchers, quant developers and systematic traders. People with backgrounds in mathematics, physics, statistics, computer science and machine learning.

The work in our clients specific niche is relationship driven. Many of the strongest candidates in this market are not actively looking and rarely respond to generic outreach. Success here comes from credibility, curiosity and the ability to have intelligent conversations with very technical people.

The role is fully remote with a genuine openness to people working from different countries/locations throughout the year. What matters is delivery, market knowledge and the ability to build trusted relationships with both candidates and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead searches for quant researchers, quant developers and systematic traders across hedge funds and proprietary trading firms.
• Build relationships with highly technical candidates across academia, trading firms and systematic funds.
• Identify and engage exceptional talent who are rarely visible on job boards or actively applying for roles.
• Manage the full recruitment process from first conversation through to offer negotiation and placement.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand highly technical requirements and advise on talent availability in the market.
• Continuously map the quantitative finance ecosystem, maintaining strong awareness of where top talent sits and how teams are evolving.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of both candidates and mandates, ensuring consistent delivery across multiple searches.

This opportunity would suit an experienced recruiter who enjoys operating in a highly specialised market where expertise, credibility and relationships matter far more than volume. Although this is a very Hot Desk from a clients perspective it is important you can demonstrate a strong and recent track record placing into the Hedge Fund and Prop Trading space

    Comms up to 50% depending on involvement of the deal life cycle
