We are looking for a recruiter to take ownership of a live desk focused on machine learning talent across high growth AI companies and quantitative trading firms. These are some of the most technically demanding environments in the world. The bar is high, the people are sharp, and the work genuinely matters.
This desk already has active clients and ongoing searches. The focus is execution. Speaking to exceptional engineers, researchers and applied scientists, understanding what they actually do, and connecting them with companies building serious technology.
You will be working with venture backed AI startups pushing the frontier, as well as quant and trading firms applying machine learning to markets where performance is measured in microseconds and basis points.
If you enjoy operating in a market where talent is scarce, conversations are technical, and the companies you represent are building genuinely interesting things… this desk will suit you well.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver on live machine learning and AI mandates across venture backed startups and quantitative trading firms.
• Speak daily with ML engineers, applied scientists, research engineers and AI specialists working on everything from large scale models to production ML systems.
• Identify and approach exceptional talent who are rarely actively looking. The best people in this space are almost always passive.
• Manage full recruitment processes from first conversation through to offer negotiation and placement.
• Build deeper relationships with existing clients on the desk, expanding hiring partnerships as teams scale.
• Map the machine learning ecosystem across AI startups, research labs, and quantitative firms so you understand where the best talent sits.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates and opportunities so the desk consistently generates placements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on market conditions, compensation expectations and where the best ML talent is moving.
