Lead HFT Recruiter – Dubai
Opportunity to build and lead a high-performance desk in a growing market

This is a considered move for someone already operating in Dubai and working within quant, HFT or broader front office hiring.

The region is no longer emerging in this space. Firms are committing capital, relocating teams, and building long-term trading operations. Demand for experienced, credible recruiters is increasing… but supply at the top end remains limited.

The Firm

A boutique search business focused on high-performance markets, including:

High-frequency trading
Quantitative trading and research
Systematic hedge funds

The firm operates with a tight, established client base across London and internationally, working on retained and high-trust mandates.

They currently have offices in London, Amsterdam, Mumbai, Dubai and Hong Kong

Dubai is a strategic expansion, with long-term investment and intent behind it.

The Role

This is a lead position within the Dubai office, with a focus on building out the HFT and quant trading desk.

You will:

Develop and run a 360 desk focused on HFT and quantitative trading
Work closely with trading firms establishing or scaling their presence in the region
Manage and grow key client relationships the firm already hold across the region
Contribute to the development of the Dubai office from both a commercial and strategic perspective

Over time, there is scope to:

Hire and mentor additional consultants
Shape the structure and direction of the local business
Play a central role in defining the firm’s presence in the region

Profile

They are looking for someone who:

Has experience recruiting within quant, HFT, or adjacent high-performance markets
Has a track record of delivering in candidate-short, high-value environments
Is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, including founders and trading leadership
Is motivated by ownership and the opportunity to build

Previous management experience is not essential, but the ability to operate with autonomy is.
