Crypto HFT Recruiter
We are looking for a recruiter who understands the world of high-frequency trading. The kind of person who knows the difference between a decent candidate and someone who can actually compete inside a top quant or trading firm. Someone who can have real conversations with traders, researchers, and engineers who are used to operating at the sharp end of the market.
You will be working with some of the most sophisticated trading firms in the world. The environments are fast, technical, and extremely selective. Your role is to identify exceptional people and guide them into teams where milliseconds and ideas both matter.
You are stepping into an established desk covering high-frequency trading and quantitative firms, with active clients and live mandates already in motion. The focus is execution, ownership, and building deeper relationships with some of the most sophisticated hiring managers in the market.
Responsibilities
• Own and deliver on existing HFT and quantitative trading mandates across trading, research and engineering roles. This is not starting from scratch. The desk already has active clients and live searches.
• Speak daily with traders, quant researchers, and low-latency engineers across leading trading firms. Understand what actually makes someone good in this world, not just what their CV says.
• Identify and approach high calibre candidates who are rarely applying for jobs. Most of the best people in this market are passive.
• Manage full recruitment processes from first conversation through to offer negotiation and placement.
• Build deeper relationships with existing clients on the desk. The opportunity here is to grow share of wallet, not just fill one role and move on.
• Map key trading firms, teams and competitors across the HFT ecosystem. Knowing who sits where and who is likely to move is a huge part of the job.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates and live opportunities so the desk consistently generates placements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on talent availability, compensation expectations and competitor hiring activity.

- This role is a Hybrid position allowing for 3 days per week remote working.
This role can be based in either London or Amsterdam
